About the role#
The Wealth Management Summer Internship Program offers students a chance to learn about the financial services industry at an employee-owned firm. You will work in a branch office for nine weeks, observing how Financial Advisors run an ethical practice for individual investors. This is a paid, part-time program requiring at least 25 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with Financial Advisors and other professionals.
- Collaborate on projects that support Financial Advisors and their clients.
- Travel to the Seattle corporate office for an immersive week of presentations, community service, and team building with leadership.
- Study for and sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, with sponsorship provided for test preparation and testing.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least sophomore year of college by June 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong academic performance and professional drive.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, and service skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background, reference, and credit check.
- Ability to commit to the full nine-week program.
- Residency in the local area of the branch office or pre-existing arrangements to live there, as no moving assistance is provided.
