About the role#
As a Chemical Engineer Intern or Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience by working on projects that enhance plant safety, environmental performance, and profitability. You will contribute to the optimization of daily operations and the development of new innovations within a global chemical manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
Depending on your assigned area, your responsibilities may include:
- Production Engineer: Focus on the daily operation and optimization of an existing unit.
- Process Engineer: Evaluate and develop major projects and debottlenecks, serve as a technical resource, and improve systems for process safety and environmental performance.
- Control System Engineer: Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced control schemes and create process models for predictive control systems.
- Research and Development Engineer: Provide technical support to polyolefin customers and develop new materials and processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- An overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.

- Location: Channelview, Texas.
- Terms: Winter 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
