About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for the Summer of 2027 within the Manufacturing Technology organization. You will spend 10 to 12 weeks gaining practical experience by integrating classroom theory with real-world manufacturing projects. You will work alongside experienced professionals to understand how business units, operations, and product offerings function.
What you'll do#
- Execute capital and process-related projects to build your understanding of the manufacturing environment.
- Perform analytical project work using Six Sigma methodology.
- Participate in specific training and development programs.
- Manage material and service requirements while learning about IFF operations.
- Collaborate with team members and follow company core values.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an ABET accredited Chemical or Biochemical Engineering program.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly through writing, verbal updates, and presentations.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to contribute to cross-functional teams.
