About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in The Woodlands, Texas. You will work within the operations group under the guidance of a mentor to complete a project that provides value to the organization. This role offers exposure to Linde products, processes, and functions while you apply your classroom knowledge to real-world engineering tasks.
What you'll do#
- Create an interface between the plant historian and UniSim.
- Write VBA code to identify stable operating periods and connect with UniSim and Python-based optimization algorithms.
- Design a web-based live process flow diagram that displays plant information and links historian values through Seeq.
- Develop marketing concepts and create communication materials.
- Support projects focused on customer outreach and business expansion.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- Ability to apply technical classroom knowledge in a professional setting.
