About the role#
This Manufacturing Tech Co-Op program provides undergraduate students with hands-on experience in a professional chemical manufacturing environment. You will work directly with engineering teams to support plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects. The program runs from June 2026 through December 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers with plant trials and troubleshoot daily production and maintenance issues.
- Write experimental outlines, carry out tests, and report your findings.
- Provide technical and administrative support to manufacturing teams.
- Assist with capital projects and process design.
- Engage in unit operations including separations, reaction engineering, spray drying, and bulk solids handling.
- Participate in Process Safety Management and potentially work some shifts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior in a Chemical Engineering undergraduate program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work safely and follow all EHS guidelines and site policies.
- Strong background in math and statistics with a technical aptitude for unit operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
