About the role#
The Intelligent Automation Intern supports the Intelligent Automation team by analyzing business processes, documenting workflows, and researching emerging technologies. You will gain exposure to robotic process automation, agentic AI, and large language models while contributing to active business initiatives. This role involves receiving coaching and feedback while having the creative freedom to research options, organize information, and recommend improvements for the team.
What you'll do#
- Document current-state business processes, including workflows, process maps, business rules, data inputs, and system handoff points.
- Participate in process discovery and improvement activities alongside business users, analysts, and developers.
- Create process documentation, quick-reference guides, training materials, and team enablement resources.
- Analyze data to identify trends or process gaps and summarize findings in a clear format.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for leadership, project teams, and business stakeholders.
- Research automation tools and techniques to support team initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year university program with Junior standing or above, though Senior standing is preferred.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business analytics, data analytics, computer science, accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Strong business acumen and analytical thinking skills.
- A genuine interest in technology and the ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and general computer skills.
- Previous experience in internships, projects, leadership, research, or process improvement is helpful but not required.
