About the role#
The Operations Intern will support field operations leadership and corporate departments by assisting with the coordination, planning, and implementation of projects, programs, and tests that impact field operations. This role ensures alignment with strategic priorities and provides exposure to analytical and briefing support within the Operations team.
What you'll do#
- Assist with managing projects, programs, and test rollouts to the field to ensure smooth execution.
- Support the Operations team and corporate departments during project planning and development.
- Provide support for change management efforts.
- Assist with the maintenance and updates of Operations manuals and guidelines.
- Travel to nearby locations to evaluate processes and procedures related to assigned projects.
- Participate in classroom training modules and experience multiple business operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Previous retail management internship experience with Love’s Travel Stops is preferred.
- Relevant coursework or additional internship experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform typical physical demands, including prolonged sitting and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
