About the role#
The Food and Beverage Innovation Intern supports the operational needs of the Food Service team. This role focuses on culinary product development and food safety while providing exposure to corporate business operations. Interns participate in a structured program that includes mentor guidance, performance feedback, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Support the Food and Beverage Innovation Team with research, development, and food safety projects.
- Assist in food events, including internal product showings and consumer testing.
- Help coordinate the Culinary Innovation Center.
- Assist in specification reviews and related projects.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments and supply partner teams.
- Support hold-time validation and cook studies.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a four-year university program, at the sophomore level or above.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in food science, culinary arts, culinology, or related fields such as chemical engineering, civil engineering, nutrition, business administration, chemistry, biology, or agriculture.
- Previous food service or culinary experience.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and maintain confidentiality.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
- This role may require scheduling flexibility and occasional travel.
