About the role#
This internship provides hands-on exposure to quality and commissioning activities for a semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will work alongside engineers, contractors, and project teams to learn about system readiness and commissioning processes. This role focuses on developing technical skills while supporting the delivery of a complex construction project.
What you'll do#
- Train on quality and commissioning principles for mechanical, electrical, wastewater, ultrapure water, chemical and gas, and controls systems.
- Assist with commissioning activities to support system verification, startup, and project readiness.
- Manage issues within commissioning software platforms.
- Support engineering teams in identifying, documenting, and resolving quality and commissioning issues.
- Participate in system walkthroughs, inspections, punch list verification, and functional testing.
- Maintain accurate commissioning documentation, testing records, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and technicians across project teams.
- Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a 4th year student or recent graduate in Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- Interest in quality, commissioning, construction, or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
