About the role#
We are looking for a Construction Management Intern to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. This is a 13-week program that offers hands-on experience in both field operations and project management. You will work alongside Superintendents, Project Engineers, and QA/QC teams on active construction projects. This role focuses on design review and field verification while providing exposure to safety, coordination, and quality standards. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment after the program.
What you'll do#
- Support daily construction activities, including site walks, safety briefings, and coordination meetings.
- Assist with tracking project progress and documenting field conditions.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control to keep project logs accurate.
- Coordinate between trades and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify discrepancies or design conflicts.
- Perform field verification of installed work against drawings and assist with inspections or punch walks.
- Use photos and redlines to document field conditions for as-built records.
- Complete a structured capstone project and present it to company leadership.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your final year of a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or you are a recent graduate.
- A strong interest in construction, project delivery, and field operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings is preferred.
- Experience with Bluebeam, BIM tools like Navisworks or Revit, and previous construction site experience are considered advantages.
