About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join the Private Wealth team for a 10-week program during the summer of 2027. This is an on-site role based at our headquarters in Wilmington, North Carolina. You will work closely with Wealth Advisors and Client Relationship Managers to support our planning and advisory operations.
What you'll do#
- Create presentation materials for clients and prospects.
- Run periodic reports on portfolio performance and asset allocations.
- Research earnings and analyst reports to support investment decisions.
- Assist with account requests, calendar management, and meeting preparation.
- Prepare client correspondence and customized professional presentation materials.
- Help with investment and wealth planning tasks, including spreadsheet analysis.
- Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer to prepare the mid-year investment newsletter.
- Learn the components of a full balance sheet financial plan and how portfolios are built based on goals.
- Present your financial plan findings and recommendations to the Relationship Management team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program with at least two years of educational experience in Finance, Business Administration, Wealth Management, or a related field.
- A strong interest in the wealth management industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
