About the role#
This position is for a Student Radiology Tech at Sovah Health in Danville. You will support the radiology department by assisting with patient examinations and maintaining equipment standards. This is a part-time, paid role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient examinations accurately and within a 30-minute timeframe.
- Handle patient positioning, computer data entry, and filming tasks.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while meeting department guidelines.
- Ensure exam accuracy, including proper labeling, patient history documentation, and shielding to minimize exposure.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or supply issues to your supervisor.
- Use your time effectively and assist team members as needed.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Diploma, or Associate Degree program in Radiologic Technology. School verification is required.
- Valid BLS certification.

- Compensation: $15.27 to $18.14 per hour.
