About the role#
Inova Fairfax Medical Center is hiring a Radiology Extern 1. This is a part-time, PRN position that supports the radiology department. You will work on-site in Falls Church, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Assist technologists with imaging procedures.
- Position patients for X-Ray exams following department protocols.
- Transport and escort patients as needed.
- Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and prepare exam rooms.
- Follow safety, environmental, and quality assurance standards.
- Coordinate with Radiologists to keep the department running smoothly.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
