About the role#
The Department of Public and Community Health is looking for a student worker to assist with daily operations. This role requires an organized and dependable individual who can work independently while supporting students, faculty, and staff. You will represent the department and contribute to its ongoing projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist students, faculty, and staff with questions and needs related to Public and Community Health.
- Help with research tasks and prepare for department events.
- Provide customer service support in the office.
- Assist with social media platform tasks as needed.
- Maintain a professional attitude and complete assigned tasks on time.
What you'll need#
- Eligibility for the Federal Work Study Program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Health Promotion equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- A professional appearance, as business casual dress is required.
