About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Dallas, Texas. You will work on-site with the Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems team. This program provides hands-on experience in the development and support of infrared and electro-optical solutions for ground vehicles and airborne platforms.
What you'll do#
- Perform board level testing and troubleshooting.
- Design printed circuit boards, including schematic and layout work.
- Assist engineers with design analysis, calculations, and parts procurement.
- Conduct limited scope testing under supervision.
- Gather and assemble data for engineering projects.
- Research specific technical fields to support ongoing assignments.
- Complete tasks on time and assist with various engineering documentation.
- Learn company methods, programs, and practices by working closely with the engineering staff.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university engineering program with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain an active DOD security clearance.

- Schedule: Full-time, 12-14 week internship on a 9/80 schedule.
