About the role#
CACI is hiring Electrical Engineering Interns for a 12-week program starting in May 2027. You will join a team of engineers to build complex electronics systems, including projects in spectrum surveillance and communications. This role is designed for students who want to apply their academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering teams on electronics development.
- Apply your interests across the broad fields of electrical and computer engineering.
- Learn practical applications to supplement your classroom studies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Status as a rising senior in a bachelor program or as a graduate student.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Ability to work on a computer in an office or lab for long periods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate via phone, email, and face-to-face.
We prefer candidates with experience in the following areas:
- Digital, analog, or RF circuit design and lab work.
- Printed Circuit Board design and layout.
- FPGA design and implementation using VHDL or Verilog.
- Embedded systems design and coding.
- Signal processing.
- Previous internships, co-ops, or work experience.
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, or participation in extracurricular activities.
- A GPA of 3.25 or higher.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Florham Park, New Jersey.
- The role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
- This is a part-time internship.
