About the role#
CACI is hiring a Technical Project Manager Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position based on-site in High Point, North Carolina. You will work 32 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks, supporting the development and implementation of network solutions and research projects. You will work under the direction of project and program managers to support the full project life cycle.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning, tracking, and executing project tasks and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including timelines, status reports, and risk logs.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document key takeaways.
- Monitor project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies.
- Conduct research and gather data to support project decisions.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain project management tools, dashboards, and reports.
- Assist in creating presentations for project updates.
- Deliver a final summary presentation on your projects and experience to the Division.
What you'll need#
- You must be a graduating high school senior with academic achievement or a current full-time student in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program.
- Preferred fields of study include Project Management, Operations, or a technical discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with tools like Trello or Jira is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians.
- Capability to handle light materials, boxes, or equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Previous internship experience, military experience, or experience working with government personnel is preferred.

- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10% to other CACI locations or customer sites as necessary.
