About the role#
This internship is part of the Mission Systems Flight Test division. You will work on mission-enabling solutions for global security. Throughout the summer, you will learn new skills, explore our enterprise, and network with experts and thought leaders.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to mission-enabling projects that support global security.
- Collaborate with team members in a high-performing environment.
- Engage in professional development and training.
- Participate in flight test operations and related engineering tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, with plans to remain enrolled in Fall 2027.
- A major in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related STEM field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship, which is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access.
- Foundational knowledge or experience with aviation, specifically fixed wing turbine aircraft.
- Understanding of standard electrical engineering drawing conventions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to a Just and Safe culture.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.

- Compensation: Paid internship with hourly rates ranging from $20.50 to $45.50 depending on degree level and other factors.
