About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026 based in Melbourne, Florida. You will join our operations center team to gain hands-on experience in network management and troubleshooting within a 24x7 environment.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and analyze network issues using monitoring tools.
- Respond to network alarms to reduce service disruptions.
- Help with root cause analysis and develop plans for service restoration.
- Work with internal teams and telecommunication partners to improve operational processes.
- Coordinate with field services and the user community for break-fix actions and change management.
- Document trouble tickets and change requests for network activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Focus on Networking or Cybersecurity.
- Basic understanding of layers 1 through 4 of the OSI model.
- Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and MAN technologies.
- Knowledge of incident, change, and problem management practices.
Location & details#
- Location: Melbourne, FL (On-site).
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
