About the role#
This is an entry-level internship for students interested in supply chain compliance within a government contracting environment. You will work under the guidance of experienced team members to learn about internal procedures, supplier documentation, and regulatory expectations. The role involves routine tasks, tracking compliance activities, and supporting process improvement efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist with supply chain compliance activities for ISR Supply Chain operations.
- Review purchasing processes to ensure they align with internal policies.
- Identify documentation gaps and process issues.
- Gather data, maintain records, and prepare reports for compliance reviews.
- Monitor compliance requirements related to regulations like FAR and DFARS.
- Track supplier compliance issues and support follow-up activities.
- Prepare training materials and reference guides for sourcing team members.
- Provide general administrative and analytical support across ISR sites.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or other Lean experience.
- Interest in government contracting compliance.
- Familiarity with SAP, SharePoint, or Tableau is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenville, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: Full-time on-site. The role follows a 9/80 schedule, meaning you work 80 hours over 9 days, with every other Friday off.
- This position is paid.
