About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry by supporting experienced business professionals. You will shadow daily operations and contribute to projects that impact the broader business. This is a paid, full-time internship for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Help develop procurement specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
- Prepare Request for Quotes and Request for Proposal packages.
- Assist with bidders conferences and evaluate supplier proposals.
- Negotiate subcontract provisions and create subcontract documents.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and internal command media.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and finance teams to mitigate supplier risk.
- Resolve issues related to quality, receiving, accounts payable, and manufacturing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Acquisition, Contract Management, or a related field.
- Completed at least your sophomore year by the start of the assignment.
- Minimum 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale.
- Ability to work full-time for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Plans to be enrolled in classes for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.
- SAP and Power BI knowledge are preferred.
- High School diploma or GED.

- Locations: Centennial, Colorado and Decatur, Alabama.
- Modality: On-site.
- Note: A valid driver’s license and motorized vehicle transportation are required if assigned to the Alabama location.
