About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern at L3Harris Technologies, you will apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to develop software for tactical radio equipment. You will work with cross-functional teams to design systems and evaluate hardware-software interfaces.
What you'll do#
- Support every phase of the software development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation and testing.
- Develop software test procedures and maintain related documentation.
- Use modeling tools to collect operating data and conduct experimental tests.
- Participate in peer reviews to find and fix software defects.
- Work with various languages including C++, C, Java, Python, and SQL across Windows, Linux, and embedded operating systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, or Information Security.
- Knowledge of core engineering and mathematical analysis concepts.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- The position is full-time.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
