About the role#
This internship involves supporting the movement of materials, records, and parts across various programs. You will report to the Logistics Manager and handle tasks related to receiving, storing, tracking, and shipping sensitive electronics and equipment.
What you'll do#
- Perform manual and clerical tasks, including data entry and analysis for inventory management.
- Provide help desk support over the phone to troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with fault isolation.
- Analyze technical data, failure reports, and manufacturer notices to recommend repair actions and replacement items.
- Manage parts throughout the repair cycle by receiving, documenting, and storing them.
- Support supply operations through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, and transport.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in logistics or a related field.
- Prior experience in logistics support.
- Familiarity with logistics practices, processes, tools, and metrics.
- Experience or certification as an instructor or trainer.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes working 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
