About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for the integration of electronic equipment on military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will work on a wide variety of tasks and systems across numerous aircraft platforms.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD software.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to ensure designs meet requirements at minimum cost.
- Develop avionics systems, RF, LAN, data processing, and power distribution systems.
- Perform electrical loads analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
- Support the testing and integration of systems on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program for Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field at an accredited university.
- Skills or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software.

- Location: Bristol, Pennsylvania.
- Work schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes working 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Work modality: On-site.
