About the role#
As a Supply Chain & Operations Intern, you will take ownership of a critical project or function within the Supply Chain team. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of supply chain management, from supplier interaction and purchasing to product launch support. Successful performance in this internship provides a pathway for consideration into the full-time Supply Chain and Operations Career Rotational Program.
What you'll do#
- Manage master data within the Infor LN ERP system.
- Lead or assist with complex projects to improve supply chain efficiency and support new product launches.
- Conduct supplier outreach, request quotes, and perform analysis to provide sourcing recommendations.
- Perform statistical analysis, insight reporting on commodity spend, and sales forecast development.
- Collaborate across departments including Quality, Engineering, Business Development, and Operations.
- Run and monitor cost analysis reports to identify saving opportunities.
- Develop and deliver performance presentations to management.
- Conduct onsite supplier visits and interact with other company locations.
- Maintain spreadsheets and utilize pivot tables to gather data for decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BA/BS degree program in Engineering, Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in standard business software, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in quick-turnaround environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and all levels of management.
- Ability to identify issues and execute or escalate solutions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following housekeeping specifications.
- Ability to lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
