About the role#
As an Integration and Test Engineering Intern, you will work on the setup, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems. This role involves supporting the development of test procedures and analyzing test results to ensure system reliability.
What you'll do#
- Configure hardware and software systems, including loading software onto devices.
- Develop and implement procedures for testing and troubleshooting components and assemblies.
- Create test plans, requirements traceability, and test case designs.
- Document testing failures and analyze results.
- Support formal systems acceptance testing and participate in failure review board meetings.
- Present test strategies and results to internal and external teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Familiarity with communications systems.
- Experience with software programming languages.
- Knowledge of networks and network security.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Herndon, Virginia.
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, meaning you work 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
