About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will design and develop electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will work on a variety of tasks across multiple aircraft platforms, including avionics, RF, LAN, data processing, and power distribution systems.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet requirements.
- Support testing and integration of systems directly on the aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficiency with CAD and PLM software, such as NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Location & details#
- Location: Rochester, New York.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
