About the role#
This role offers hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day operations of Kohler social media channels. You will work with Social Media Managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate content publishing, moderation, social listening, and performance reporting. This is an execution-focused position designed to build your skills in digital marketing and content operations.
What you'll do#
- Publish and schedule content across priority platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Configure post-level settings like captions, tags, metadata, thumbnails, and links.
- Perform quality checks for copy, creative assets, and accessibility before content goes live.
- Monitor live content, troubleshoot publishing issues, and support routine channel maintenance.
- Track brand conversations, competitor activity, and platform trends to compile listening summaries.
- Manage moderation queues by monitoring comments and messages, using approved guidelines to support responses.
- Escalate customer concerns, product issues, or potential risks to the correct internal partners.
- Collect and validate campaign data, tracking metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth.
- Archive published content and participate in planning meetings.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations, or Business.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- A strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content operations.
- Working knowledge of major social platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and digital tools quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Sound judgment and a willingness to follow established governance and escalation processes.
