About the role#
As a Lifestyle Design CoOp, you will join the team to develop concepts based on emerging consumer patterns. You will work on projects that explore the relationship between interior spaces and product design. This role involves contributing to early research and visual storytelling that informs design direction at a global scale. You will work on-site in Kohler, Wisconsin, for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on trend research and data interpretation.
- Build mood boards and develop 2D and 3D concepts.
- Create visual assets and refine digital boards to support presentations.
- Coordinate samples and assist with project storytelling.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, research activities, and design reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university program for Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- A flexible and dependable approach to creative work.
- A strong eye for detail, form, spatial experience, materiality, color, and finish.
- Proficiency in visual communication, digital modeling, and spatial rendering.
- Experience with tools such as Rhino, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or KeyShot is preferred.
- Relevant coursework or experience in graphic design, engineering, product design, or interior design is a plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
