About the role#
This is a 6-month internship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin. You will work on-site from May through October 2027. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests and help them with their purchases.
- Manage retail stockroom organization, cleanliness, and merchandise deliveries.
- Restock the pro shop daily to ensure displays are complete and tidy.
- Learn the inventory management system and assist with physical counts and reconciliations.
- Handle register operations, including opening, closing, and processing sales or exchanges.
- Check in golfers and assist with special orders.
- Tag new merchandise and report any discrepancies to leadership.
- Educate your colleagues on the products we carry.
- Help train and guide new sales associates on daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at an accredited university with a focus on golf or merchandising.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and maintain a service-oriented mindset.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Kohler, Wisconsin.
- Work schedule: Nights and weekends are required.
