About the role#
Nucor is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team in Lewisville. You will assist with administrative duties while helping to develop and implement marketing strategies. This role involves working across multiple disciplines, including brand strategy, event planning, digital marketing, and advertising. You will gain broad experience in marketing strategy and prepare for future roles in the industry. Safety is our priority, and you must lead and uphold all safety policies and housekeeping standards at all times.
What you'll do#
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
- Perform research and analysis on the competition.
- Support the team with daily administrative tasks.
- Assist with promotional activities including social media, email, tradeshows, and web content.
- Prepare promotional presentations.
- Help develop, proof, and print marketing materials.
- Manage and update the company database and CRM systems.
- Help organize marketing events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in marketing, advertising, communications, or public relations.
- A strong desire to learn and professional drive.
- Solid understanding of marketing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with marketing software and online applications like CRM tools, online analytics, and Google Adwords.
- A recommendation from a supervisor or manager.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
