About the role#
Kodiak is looking for a Controls Intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will join our team in Mountain View to work on our autonomous trucking platform. This role involves direct collaboration with robotics engineers to solve complex technical problems and deploy code to trucks operating in the real world.
What you'll do#
- Receive mentorship from experienced robotics engineers.
- Advance our autonomous trucking platform.
- Design and implement solutions to complex robotics problems.
- Deploy code on autonomous trucks operating in real-world scenarios.
- Work in a collaborative environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university.
- Status as a Junior, Senior, or graduate student.
- Field of study in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong C++ programming skills.
- Proficiency in kinematics, linear algebra, and calculus.
- Ability to solve basic graph search problems.
