About the role#
As a Product Development Applications Engineer Intern within the Broadband Plasma division, you will assist in developing and implementing applications for both existing and pre-release products. You will work to provide maximum value to customers by ensuring our inspection systems perform at their peak. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Milpitas, California.
What you'll do#
- Support new product introduction projects, including characterization, alpha and beta testing, and pilot tool evaluation.
- Diagnose product issues and drive them to resolution.
- Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to verify that hardware and software fixes are effective.
- Document test results and lessons learned in Best Known Methods (BKMs).
- Transfer your project knowledge to the Product Development Application Engineering team before the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- No prior related work experience is required.
