About the role#
We are looking for interns to join our team in Ann Arbor for the summer of 2027. You will perform hands-on work on our semiconductor inspection tools and contribute to the development of components and tooling integrated into our instruments. You will work within a team of interns and engineers, focusing on specific aspects of larger projects.
What you'll do#
- Design electrical parts, modules, and subsystems for advanced measurement systems.
- Perform thermal and cooling analysis and control.
- Create conceptual and detailed designs using CAD tools.
- Design circuits using tools such as OrCAD or Cadence.
- Procure prototype parts, integrate systems, test prototypes, and transition designs to manufacturing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering.
- A developing foundation in electrical engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience debugging systems and subsystems using lab tools like multimeters and analyzers.
- Strong analytical skills with experience troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
