About the role#
We are looking for an Environmental Science Intern to join our team in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work directly with project managers to solve complex problems and collaborate with different teams to complete client projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with daily tasks and problem-solving.
- Learn federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Follow company and client procedures and standards.
- Gain experience in natural resource regulations and water quality programs.
- Perform wetlands identification, including work with botany and soil science.
- Apply your knowledge of ecology and wildlife biology.
- Travel for fieldwork as needed, which accounts for 10 to 30 percent of the role.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
