This is a full-time, on-site co-op position based in Jacksonville, Florida, for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This opportunity is designed for students actively participating in a formal university co-op program, alternating between academic semesters and professional work experience.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis across various project scopes.
- Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-control deliverables for clients.
- Solve complex engineering problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
- Develop a working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal company practices and standards.
- Gain proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s engineering degree program.
- Academic focus in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
