About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring Engineering students for our office in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site internship position. We offer a rolling start date for candidates currently pursuing an engineering degree.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and perform quality control on project deliverables.
- Work on pre-construction civil engineering tasks, including design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members across different disciplines.
- Solve complex project problems.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with our specific company and client standards.
- Gain experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Bachelor or Master degree program.
- Majors accepted include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.
