About the role#
Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students to join the Las Vegas, Nevada office. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and perform quality control on project deliverables.
- Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis across various project sizes.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to support the built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client standards.
- Gain proficiency in discipline-specific software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited bachelor or master degree program.
- Academic background in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
