About the role#
We are hiring a Structural Intern to join our team in Chicago. This is a paid, rolling internship that offers students the chance to gain practical experience in structural engineering.
What you'll do#
- Work with project teams on a variety of architectural projects including sports, commercial, healthcare, and public assembly buildings.
- Take part in our in-house staff development program.
What you'll need#
- A BS in Civil Engineering or completion of at least 24 hours of engineering coursework toward a BS in Civil Engineering.
- Enrollment in or plans to apply for a graduate program in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- A sound technical background and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for the challenges of designing structures.
- EIT certification is preferred.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
