About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will join project teams to contribute to the design and development of civil, land, and site development projects. This role offers exposure to real-world engineering challenges within a collaborative team environment. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects and participate in an in-house staff development program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on the design and development of diverse civil and site development projects.
- Gain practical experience in site layout and grading, stormwater management, utility design, and sustainable infrastructure planning.
- Engage with project teams to solve complex infrastructure challenges.
- Participate in staff development sessions to build professional skills.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or completion of at least 40 college credit hours toward this degree (with at least 24 hours in engineering, physics, or math).
- A strong technical foundation in civil engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm for designing innovative and sustainable site development solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation is preferred but not required.
- A written recommendation from a civil engineering professor.
