About the role#
As a Diagnostics Intern, you will work alongside a team of engineers to provide specialized engineering services. This role focuses on the forensics, restoration, renovation, and rehabilitation of diverse commercial structures, including stadiums, arenas, convention centers, hospitals, and parking garages. You will gain hands-on experience across four core practice areas: Building Enclosure, Forensic Analysis, Parking Restoration, and Restoration/Renovation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with engineering services for diagnostics-related projects.
- Engage in field work to diagnose structural issues.
- Provide proactive support for client service initiatives.
- Participate in the company in-house staff development program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture.
- A sound technical background with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for field work involving the diagnosis of complex structures.
- Demonstrated interest in forensics engineering or building envelope rehabilitation.
