Diagnostics Intern

About the role#

As a Diagnostics Intern, you will work with a team of engineers to provide specialized engineering services on diagnostics-related projects. This role involves contributing to forensics, restoration, renovation, and rehabilitation efforts for various commercial structures, including stadiums, arenas, convention centers, hospitals, and parking garages. You will gain exposure to four core areas of practice: Building Enclosure, Forensic Analysis, Parking Restoration, and Restoration/Renovation.

What you'll do#

• Assist the engineering team with diagnostics-related project tasks.
• Participate in the in-house staff development program.
• Support forensics, restoration, and renovation projects for commercial facilities.
• Engage in field work to help diagnose issues with significant structures.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a BS or MS program in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture.
• Demonstrated interest in forensics engineering or building envelope rehabilitation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A proactive spirit and enthusiasm for field work.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
