About the role#
This internship provides training and support for energy operations. You will learn the foundations of the industry and the cooperative system to prepare for future career opportunities. The role involves hands-on tasks and direct interaction with customers.
What you'll do#
- Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
- Perform installations, leak checks, and tank leveling.
- Build and maintain customer-focused relationships.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, or wet environments.
- Follow company safety policies, including OSHA and DOT regulations.
- Lift 51-70 pounds as needed and work at heights or on elevated platforms.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an agriculture, mechanic, welding, or related degree program with good academic standing.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements and a medical card.
- Willingness to participate in all required training and education programs.
- Ability to travel independently and stay overnight when necessary.
