About the role#
The KBCM Investment Banking Summer Analyst program offers hands-on experience in corporate and investment banking. You will gain exposure to senior bankers and clients while working on transaction execution from the pitch phase through closing. This program serves as a pipeline for full-time analyst positions upon graduation. Interns may be placed in the Real Estate or Technology groups.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis on public and private companies.
- Conduct comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and leveraged and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Assist in drafting offering memoranda and internal committee memoranda.
- Create client pitch books, management presentations, and board presentations.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior status in a four-year undergraduate degree program, graduating by May 2028.
- Coursework in finance, economics, or accounting.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- High motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Note: This position does not offer employment visa sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site and hybrid options available.

- Compensation: $1,730 per week, eligible for overtime, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
