About the role#
This is a 10.5-week summer internship program designed to provide hands-on experience within the Internal Audit department at KeyBank. You will work alongside professionals to assess risk management practices and gain exposure to various business lines, including lending, deposits, payments, and capital markets. This role is remote, though those located near Cleveland, Ohio, may have options for occasional office work.
What you'll do#
- Participate in one or two audits to learn the full lifecycle of planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Attend audit-specific training and enterprise-wide Learning Labs.
- Network with fellow interns and members of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Deliver a final Spotlight presentation to leadership regarding your experience.
- Work 8-hour days, not exceeding 40 hours per week.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least three years toward a four-year undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.25.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time position offering $23 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
