About the role#
This 10-week paid internship provides exposure to the financial operations of U.S. Bank. You will participate in a program designed to build your finance and business acumen through formal training, mentorship, and engagement with senior executives. Interns also build a community of peers through social events, volunteer days, and workshops.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects involving financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, risk management, strategy, and process improvement.
- Learn the nuances of corporate finance and how it supports business strategies.
- Work approximately 40 hours per week.
- Participate in cohort activities, including a potential case competition with cross-functional teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A basic understanding of financial or accounting terms and concepts.
- Availability to start the program on June 7, 2027.
- Coursework or extracurricular activities related to Finance or Treasury.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work within a multi-discipline team.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, requiring work from a U.S. Bank location at least three days per week.
