About the role#
The Risk Management Internship is a 10.5-week program designed to build risk professionals through training and hands-on work experience. Interns are placed within a specific department for the duration of the program, such as Anti-Money Laundering, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, Credit Risk, Market and Treasury Risk, or Model Risk. Successful completion of the program makes interns eligible for a full-time rotational analyst position.
What you'll do#
- Assess and monitor risk and controls.
- Perform data analytics and reporting.
- Conduct quality assurance and control testing.
- Communicate opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Apply regulatory requirements to practical banking scenarios.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least three years toward a four-year undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Science.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
