About the role#
Jordan's Furniture is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time internship based in East Taunton, Massachusetts. You will participate in our Furnish Your Future program, gaining exposure to recruitment, HR technology, learning and development, leave of absences, benefits, and compensation.
What you'll do#
- Re-imagine the J-Team employee experience using your own creative ideas.
- Take ownership of a project that drives key Human Resources initiatives forward.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews while communicating with candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience.
- Research industry trends and HR best practices to offer recommendations on talent management, employee engagement, and retention.
- Coordinate employee training workshops.
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You are highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- You can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You are proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Prior experience in Human Resources or Customer Service is a plus.
