About the role#
Jordan's Furniture is offering a 10-week paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides hands-on experience on our showroom floor. You will work alongside our management team and commissioned sales consultants to learn the selling process. This role requires travel to various retail locations throughout New England.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the June Sales Training Cohort.
- Use a consultative approach to help guests find merchandise that fits their needs and budget.
- Build relationships with customers and your team.
- Gain product knowledge and drive sales on the showroom floor.
- Lead a project focused on your summer discoveries and sales results.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a rising college senior.
- You are enrolled in a business management, business administration, or marketing degree program.
- You have an interest in sales and customer service.
- You are a proactive and self-motivated person.
- You possess strong communication skills.
- Prior customer service or retail sales experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Reading, Massachusetts (on-site).
- Schedule: Full-time, starting June 7, 2027. Some weekend shifts are required.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
- Sponsorship: We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
