About the role#
Jordan's Furniture is looking for a Retail Sales Intern to join our showroom floor for the Summer 2027 term. This paid, 10-week program focuses on the consultative selling process within the furniture industry. You will work directly with our management team and experienced sales consultants to learn how to connect with customers and drive results.
What you'll do#
- Join our June Sales Training Cohort to build your foundation in retail sales.
- Work alongside our sales consultants and management team to learn the selling process.
- Use a consultative approach to help guests find furniture that fits their needs and budget.
- Complete a project detailing your summer discoveries and your contributions to sales production.
- Handle other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by your department.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising college senior currently enrolled in a business management, business administration, or marketing degree program.
- You have an interest in sales and customer service.
- You are proactive, self-motivated, and ready to take on new challenges.
- You have strong communication skills.
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in Natick, Massachusetts.
- The program runs for 10 weeks, starting June 7, 2027.
- The role requires some weekend shifts.
- Travel to various retail locations throughout New England will be required.
- This is a paid position at $23.00 per hour.
